About the Role
We are looking to add new talent to our Engineering team to support a diverse portfolio of mining, civil, geotechnical, and infrastructure projects across Latin America and internationally. The Engineering Intern role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary consulting environment. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and project teams, contributing to engineering analyses, data management, and design support while strengthening your professional skills.
This Role Will Give You the Opportunity To:
Process and analyze engineering information obtained from field investigations, laboratory testing, and instrumentation monitoring programs.
Support engineering design activities for mining, civil, and geotechnical projects.
Develop, maintain, and update technical databases containing field, laboratory, and monitoring data.
Track, organize, and manage laboratory, field, and instrumentation testing results.
Assist with stability, seepage, and infiltration assessments for tailings storage facilities and other mining-related structures.
Support filter design evaluations and engineering reviews in accordance with industry standards and guidelines.
Assist with quantity take-offs and basic engineering calculations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to technical deliverables under the guidance of senior professionals.
Provide general engineering support across project phases, from data collection and analysis to design development.
We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:
Current university studies (7th semester or above) in Civil Engineering.
Basic understanding of geotechnical, civil, or mining engineering principles.
Working knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GeoStudio (GeoSlope/Seep/W), HEC-RAS, S10, or similar tools.
Strong data management and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage technical information effectively.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively under supervision while demonstrating initiative and a proactive attitude.
Intermediate English proficiency; Portuguese language skills are considered an asset.
A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
