We are seeking motivated Engineering Trainee to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. This trainee role provides structured on-the-job training, mentoring, and professional development to accelerate practical engineering skills and prepare you for a career across mechanical, electrical, civil, or software engineering disciplines. The position is open to early-career candidates seeking a clear pathway into engineering roles.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an Engineering Intern currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geology program (from the 7th semester onward). This role is ideal for a student who is proactive, analytical, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn by supporting technical teams across engineering and water resources projects.
You should be someone who communicates effectively, adapts well to changing demands, and contributes positively to a collaborative, innovative, and productive work environment. You will work both in the office and in the field, supporting multidisciplinary teams and handling sensitive technical information with confidentiality and professionalism.
What you will do
In this role, you will support technical teams through a variety of engineering, data, and documentation tasks, including:
General Responsibilities
Assist project teams in day‑to‑day technical activities.
Process information collected from field and laboratory investigations.
Review reports, deliverables, and support the preparation of technical documents.
Comply with the organization’s Integrated Management System requirements.
Specific Responsibilities
Manage and process all information received for data consolidation and reporting.
Track, receive, and support the management of field and laboratory tests.
Assist in performing stability, seepage, and deformation analyses.
Support engineering calculations and the development of technical reports.
Produce maps, drawings, and digital figures in coordination with GIS/CAD team.
What You Bring
Ongoing bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geology (7th semester or later).
Basic knowledge of: AutoCAD, GeoSlope, HEC‑HMS, SISCCOH, QGIS.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Intermediate English and basic Spanish (desired).
Preferably ranked among the top students or maintaining an academic performance above 85%.
