Senior Document Controller

Our Brisbane office has created an immediate opening for a Senior Document Controller to support the Australasia group’s technical teams. Reporting to the Technical Group Manager, and with support from the office services team, the role will provide a wide range of document control support. We are looking for a motivated team player who has document control experience within engineering projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Document control or related experience for Engineering Projects
- Experienced user of document management systems, including Aconex, Sharepoint or similar
- Experience identifying and developing document control procedures and guidelines.
- High level of attention to detail, good organisation skills.
- Experience with a quality management system registered under ISO 9001 beneficial.
- Microsoft suite (including MS Word, MS Excel)
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Document formatting and preparation skills would be an asset.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Liaise with and assist Project Managers to identify, develop and document, procedures and guidelines for the control of all project documents.
- Provide support and advice to the project teams with regards to management of all project documentation
- Maintain project document registers, provide version and revision control of incoming and outgoing project documentation.
- Attend project progress meetings as required and report on status of key deliverables.
- Liase with clients, and other external stakeholders with relation to project specific document control procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Ensure all project documentation is prepared, reviewed, and approved according to KCB’s and/or client’s relevant standards and procedures.
- Assist with formatting, compilation, and controlled delivery of project packages.
- Assist with ad hoc project administration tasks as required.
