Klohn Crippen Berger is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will support a wide range of human resources functions, including onboarding, employee relations and HR administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in HR while contributing to a collaborative and people-focused workplace. This position is based in Vancouver and will report jointly to two HR Business Partners supporting strategic and operational HR initiatives across 3 business units.
What you would engage in:
- Oversee and execute core HR administrative functions including reporting, drafting employee correspondence, and managing leave of absence processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and employment legislation
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding process by facilitating new hire orientation, coordinating systems and workspace setup, and ensuring timely completion of all documentation. Act as a key liaison with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and engaging Day One experience
- Assist with our employee engagement initiatives including conducting employee interviews, analyzing feedback trends, and partnering with the HR Business Partners to improve retention and transition strategies
- Maintain and audit confidential employee records to ensure documentation is consistently up-to-date, compliant with privacy regulations, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving routine and moderately complex issues independently, and escalating sensitive matters to HR Business Partners with appropriate context and recommendations
- Contribute to the development and execution of internal HR communications, employee engagement programs, and culture-building initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction
- Support special projects and initiatives including process improvements, policy updates while collaborating with stakeholders across departments
Who we are looking for:

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a HR role
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and follow-through
- Process-minded with a continuous improvement approach
- Proactive, dependable, and confident in handling confidential and sensitive information
- A team player with a growth mindset and positive attitude
- Enthusiasm for HR and a desire to grow your career in the HR space

The salary for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
